اللَّهُمَّ هَذَا حَرَمُ نَبِيِّكَ فَاجْعَلْهُ لِي وِقَايَةً مِنَ النَّارِ
DUA UPON ENTERING MADINAH
اللّٰهُمَّ هَذَا حَرَمُ نَبِيُّكَ فَاجْعَلْهُ لِيْ وِقَايَةً مِّنَ النَّارِ وَاَمَانًا مِنَ الْعَذَابِ وَسُوءِ الْحِسَابِ
Allāhumma hādhā ḥaramu nabiyyika fajʿalhu lī wiqāyatan mina n-nāri wa amānan mina l-ʿadhābi wa sūʾi l-ḥisāb
“O Allah, this is the sanctuary of Your Prophet, so make it for me a protection from the Fire, a safety from punishment and a bad reckoning.”
اے اللہ، یہ تیرے نبی ﷺ کا حرم ہے، اسے میرے لیے آگ سے بچاؤ، عذاب اور برے حساب سے امان بنا دے۔

SALAWAT — RECITE ABUNDANTLY IN MADINAH
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَبَارِكْ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمْ
Allāhumma ṣalli ʿalā Muḥammadin wa ʿalā āli Muḥammadin wa bārik ʿalayhi wa sallim
“O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, and bless him and grant him peace.”
اے اللہ، محمد ﷺ اور ان کی آل پر رحمت نازل فرما، ان پر برکت اور سلامتی نازل فرما۔

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَالصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ
Bismillāhi wa ṣ-ṣalātu wa s-salāmu ʿalā rasūlillāhi Allāhumma ftaḥ lī abwāba raḥmatik
“In the name of Allah, and peace and blessings upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.”
اللہ کے نام سے، اللہ کے رسول ﷺ پر درود و سلام ہو۔ اے اللہ، میرے لیے اپنی رحمت کے دروازے کھول دے۔

AFTER TAHIYYATUL MASJID — 2 RAKAH
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَارْحَمْنِي وَتُبْ عَلَيَّ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ
Rabbi ghfir lī warḥamnī wa tub ʿalayya innaka anta t-tawwābu r-raḥīm
“My Lord, forgive me, have mercy on me and accept my repentance — indeed You are the Ever-Relenting, the Most Merciful.”
اے میرے رب، مجھے بخش دے، رحم فرما اور توبہ قبول فرما، بے شک تو توبہ قبول کرنے والا رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
Tirmidhi 300 — Recite after praying 2 rakah Tahiyyatul Masjid
SALAM ON THE PROPHET ﷺ
السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
As-salāmu ʿalayka yā Rasūla Llāhi wa raḥmatu Llāhi wa barakātuh
“Peace be upon you, O Messenger of Allah, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.”
اے اللہ کے رسول ﷺ، آپ پر سلام ہو، اللہ کی رحمت اور برکتیں ہوں۔
Abu Dawud 2041 · Nasai
SALAM ON ABU BAKR & UMAR ؓ
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا اَبَا بَكْرٍ اَلصِّدِّيقُ · اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا عُمَرَ الْفَارُوقُ
As-salāmu ʿalayka yā Abā Bakrin aṣ-Ṣiddīq · As-salāmu ʿalayka yā ʿUmara l-Fārūq
“Peace be upon you, O Abu Bakr the Truthful. Peace be upon you, O Umar al-Faruq.”
اے ابوبکر صدیق ؓ، آپ پر سلام ہو۔ اے عمر فاروق ؓ، آپ پر سلام ہو۔

DUROOD IBRAHIM — RECITE 100× IN THE RAWDAH
اللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلٰى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلٰى اِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَعَلٰى آلِ اِبْرَاهِيْمَ اِنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَّجِيْدٌ
Allāhumma ṣalli ʿalā Muḥammadin wa ʿalā āli Muḥammadin kamā ṣallayta ʿalā Ibrāhīma wa ʿalā āli Ibrāhīma innaka Ḥamīdun Majīd
“O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You sent blessings upon Ibrahim and his family. Indeed You are Praiseworthy and Glorious.”
اے اللہ، محمد ﷺ پر ایسی رحمت نازل فرما جیسی تو نے ابراہیم ؑ اور ان کی آل پر نازل فرمائی۔ بے شک تو قابل تعریف اور بزرگ ہے۔

BEST DUA FOR BOTH WORLDS
رَبَّنَآ اٰتِنَا فِى الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَّفِى الْاٰخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَّقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbanā ātinā fi d-dunyā ḥasanah wa fi l-ākhirati ḥasanah wa qinā ʿadhāba n-nār
“Our Lord, grant us good in this world and good in the hereafter and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.”
اے ہمارے رب، ہمیں دنیا میں بھلائی دے، آخرت میں بھی بھلائی دے اور ہمیں آگ کے عذاب سے بچا۔

اللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْ نَبِيَّكَ شَفِيْعًا لِّى يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَارْزُقْنِى حُبَّهُ وَاتِّبَاعَهُ
Allāhumma jʿal nabiyyaka shafīʿan lī yawma l-qiyāmati warzuqnī ḥubbahu wa ttibāʿah
“O Allah, make Your Prophet an intercessor for me on the Day of Resurrection and grant me love for him and the ability to follow him.”
اے اللہ، اپنے نبی ﷺ کو قیامت کے دن میرا شفاعت کرنے والا بنا اور مجھے ان کی محبت اور پیروی نصیب فرما۔
Bayhaqi · Hakim
SALAM UPON ENTERING BAQI
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ دَارَ قَوْمٍ مُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَاِنَّا اِنْ شَآءَ اللّٰهُ بِكُمْ لَاحِقُونَ
As-salāmu ʿalaykum dāra qawmin muʾminīna wa innā in shāʾa Llāhu bikum lāḥiqūn
“Peace be upon you, O dwelling of believing people. And indeed we will join you, if Allah wills.”
اے مومنوں کی قوم کے گھر، تم پر سلام ہو، اور بے شک ہم بھی ان شاء اللہ تم سے ملنے والے ہیں۔
Sahih Muslim 974 — The Prophet ﷺ recited this every time he visited Baqi
DUA FOR THE PEOPLE OF BAQI
اللّٰهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِأَهْلِ بَقِيْعِ الْغَرْقَدِ وَارْحَمْهُمْ وَارْفَعْ دَرَجَاتِهِمْ فِى الْجَنَّةِ
Allāhumma ghfir li-ahli baqīʿi l-gharqadi warḥamhum warfaʿ darajātihim fi l-jannah
“O Allah, forgive the people of Baqi al-Gharqad, have mercy on them and raise their ranks in Paradise.”
اے اللہ، بقیع الغرقد والوں کو بخش دے، ان پر رحم فرما اور جنت میں ان کے درجات بلند فرما۔

LEAVING THE MOSQUE — EXIT WITH LEFT FOOT
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ وَالصَّلٰوةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلٰى رَسُوْلِ اللّٰهِ اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّى اَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ
Bismillāhi wa ṣ-ṣalātu wa s-salāmu ʿalā rasūlillāhi Allāhumma innī asʾaluka min faḍlik
“In the name of Allah, peace and blessings upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, I ask You of Your bounty.”
اللہ کے نام سے، اللہ کے رسول ﷺ پر درود و سلام ہو۔ اے اللہ، میں تجھ سے تیرا فضل مانگتا ہوں۔
Ibn Majah 772 — Exit with left foot
DUA WHEN LEAVING MADINAH
اَللّٰهُمَّ لَا تَجْعَلْ هٰذَا اٰخِرَالْعَهْدِ بِحَرَمِ نَبِيِّكَ وَيَسِّرْ لِى الْعَوْدَةَ اِلَيْهِ
Allāhumma lā tajʿal hādhā ākhira l-ʿahdi bi-ḥarami nabiyyika wa yassir liya l-ʿawdata ilayh
“O Allah, do not make this my last visit to the sanctuary of Your Prophet, and make it easy for me to return to it.”
اے اللہ، اسے اپنے نبی ﷺ کے حرم سے میری آخری ملاقات نہ بنا اور میرے لیے واپس آنا آسان فرما دے۔
