Duas for Debt and
Financial Hardship
اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ
10 Prophetic duas for relief from debt, barakah in rizq and financial independence. Arabic, English & Urdu.
The Rawdah — The Best Place to Ask for Relief from Debt
Debt is one of the heaviest burdens a person can carry. The Prophet ﷺ sought refuge from it every single day — in his morning and evening adhkar, he specifically mentioned debt alongside grief and anxiety. That tells us something profound: financial hardship is a spiritual matter, not just a worldly one.
Standing in the Rawdah — feet away from where the Prophet ﷺ prayed, preached and made dua — is the most powerful place to ask Allah to relieve you from debt and open your rizq. Allah is Al-Razzaq, the Provider. He does not tire of giving. He does not run out of resources. Ask Him directly, in His garden, without any intermediary.
“The Prophet ﷺ used to seek refuge from debt so frequently that someone asked him about it. He said: When a person is in debt, he speaks and lies, and he makes a promise and breaks it.”
— Sahih Bukhari 2397 — Debt affects character, not just finances
