Why Make Dua for Your Children in the Rawdah?
Your children are the greatest trust Allah has placed in your hands. Every parent worries — about their child’s future, their faith, their safety, their happiness. Standing in the Rawdah, you hold that worry up to the One who created them and knows them better than you do. That is the most powerful thing a parent can do.
The Prophet Ibrahim made dua for his children in the Quran — asking Allah to make them establish prayer, to accept his dua, to forgive him and his offspring. The Prophet Zakariyya made dua for righteous children from a place of complete dependence on Allah. Standing in the Rawdah, you stand in the tradition of all the prophets who prayed for their children.

رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَةً
MAKE THEM RIGHTEOUS
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ أَوْلَادِي صَالِحِينَ وَاجْعَلْهُمْ مِنْ عِبَادِكَ الْمُتَّقِينَ
Allāhumma jʿal awlādī ṣāliḥīna wajʿalhum min ʿibādika l-muttaqīn
“O Allah, make my children righteous and make them among Your pious servants.”
اے اللہ، میرے بچوں کو نیک بنا دے اور انہیں اپنے متقی بندوں میں سے بنا دے۔

DUA OF IBRAHIM — QURANIC
رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلَاةِ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِي رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَاءِ
Rabbi jʿalnī muqīma ṣ-ṣalāti wa min dhurriyyatī Rabbanā wa taqabbal duʿāʾ
“My Lord, make me and my offspring establish prayer. Our Lord, accept my supplication.”
اے میرے رب، مجھے اور میری اولاد کو نماز قائم کرنے والا بنا اور میری دعا قبول فرما۔

اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِ أَوْلَادِي وَثَبِّتْهُمْ عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ وَالْإِيمَانِ
Allāhumma hdi awlādī wa thabbitum ʿala l-islāmi wa l-īmān
“O Allah, guide my children and keep them firm upon Islam and faith.”

أُعِيذُكُمَا بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَامَّةٍ
Uʿīdhukumā bi-kalimāti llāhi t-tāmmati min kulli shayṭānin wa hāmmatin wa min kulli ʿaynin lāmmah
“I seek refuge for them in the perfect words of Allah from every devil, every harmful creature and every evil eye.”
میں انہیں اللہ کے کامل کلمات کی پناہ میں دیتا ہوں ہر شیطان، ہر نقصاندہ چیز اور ہر بری نظر سے۔

PROTECT THEM FROM ALL HARM
للَّهُمَّ احْفَظْ أَوْلَادِي مِنْ كُلِّ سُوءٍ وَمَكْرُوهٍ وَكُنْ لَهُمْ فِي كُلِّ أَمْرٍ
Allāhumma ḥfaẓ awlādī min kulli sūʾin wa makrūhin wa kun lahum fī kulli amr
“O Allah, protect my children from all harm and hardship and be with them in every matter.”
اے اللہ، میرے بچوں کو ہر برائی اور تکلیف سے محفوظ رکھ اور ہر معاملے میں ان کے ساتھ رہ۔

اللَّهُمَّ عَافِ أَوْلَادِي فِي أَبْدَانِهِمْ وَأَدْيَانِهِمْ وَأَخْلَاقِهِمْ
Allāhumma ʿāfi awlādī fī abdānihim wa adyānihim wa akhlāqihim
“O Allah, grant my children wellbeing in their bodies, their religion and their character.”
اے اللہ، میرے بچوں کو ان کے جسموں، دین اور اخلاق میں عافیت عطا فرما۔

“O Allah, beautify my children’s character and reform their deen and worldly affairs.”

Rabbanā hab lanā min azwājinā wa dhurriyyātinā qurrata aʿyunin wajʿalnā lil-muttaqīna imāmā
“Our Lord, grant us from our spouses and children comfort to our eyes and make us leaders of the righteous.”
اے ہمارے رب، ہمیں ہماری ازواج اور اولاد سے آنکھوں کی ٹھنڈک عطا فرما اور ہمیں متقیوں کا امام بنا دے۔

اللَّهُمَّ آتِ أَوْلَادِي سَعَادَةَ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَقِهِمْ عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Allāhumma āti awlādī saʿādata d-dunyā wa l-ākhirati wa qihim ʿadhāba n-nār
“O Allah, grant my children happiness in this world and the next and protect them from the Fire.”
اے اللہ، میرے بچوں کو دنیا اور آخرت کی خوشی عطا فرما اور انہیں آگ کے عذاب سے بچا۔

MAKE THEM AMONG THE PEOPLE OF JANNAH
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ أَوْلَادِي مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَاحْشُرْنَا جَمِيعًا فِي جَنَّةِ الْفِرْدَوْسِ
Allāhumma jʿal awlādī min ahli l-jannati waḥshurnā jamīʿan fī jannati l-firdaws
“O Allah, make my children among the people of Jannah and gather us all together in Jannatul Firdaus.”
اے اللہ، میرے بچوں کو جنت والوں میں سے بنا دے اور ہم سب کو جنت الفردوس میں اکٹھا فرما دے۔
