Frequently asked questions

Use Nusuk if you entered Saudi Arabia on a Hajj or Umrah visa. But , if Nusuk is not helping to show empty slots then use Tawakalna. The Rawdah permit on Tawakalna will also appear in Nusuk.

Use Tawakalna if you are a Saudi resident, GCC national, or on a tourist/family/business visa. Both apps access the same permit system โ€” the slot you get is identical.

You will be able to see new slots whenever you are near the Rawdah Sharifah. Also, new slots are released every Thursday and Friday, usually early morning around Fajr time in Madinah (UTC+3). Slots only appear 1โ€“2 weeks ahead โ€” searching too far in advance shows nothing. During Ramadan and Hajj season slots fill within minutes of release, so set a reminder for release time.

Before there was once a year rule โ€” once you have visited, you cannot book another permit. This was applied per passport/ID registered in the app. Now, you can do as many visits as you want.

Children under a certain age (typically under 10) may enter with a parent holding a valid permit. Each adult with a permit may bring one young child. Older children require their own permit booked on their own ID.

No โ€” the permit is completely free. There is no charge to book or enter the Rawdah. Both Nusuk and Tawakalna are free apps. Anyone telling you otherwise is incorrect.

Prepare your personal duas before entering as time is limited. Begin with salawat upon the Prophet ๏ทบ, then make sincere dua in any language. The Prophet ๏ทบ said: “Make dua with certainty that it will be answered.” Duas for forgiveness, health, guidance, and family are most commonly recited here. Click here for a complete guide

Greyed out dates mean no slots are available for those days yet. They will activate when new slots are released. It can also mean you are not near the Rawdah sharifa.
