Why Make Dua for Deceased Parents in the Rawdah?
Standing in the Rawdah — the blessed garden between the Prophet’s ﷺ house and his pulpit — is one of the most powerful moments in a believer’s life. The Prophet ﷺ himself said this space is a garden from the gardens of Paradise, and that duas made here are accepted.

إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
SEEKING FORGIVENESS FOR BOTH PARENTS
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِوَالِدَيَّ وَارْحَمْهُمَا وَعَافِهِمَا وَاعْفُ عَنْهُمَا
Allāhumma ghfir li-wālidayya warḥamhumā wa ʿāfihimā waʿfu ʿanhumā
“O Allah, forgive my parents, have mercy on them, grant them wellbeing and pardon them.”
اے اللہ، میرے والدین کو بخش دے، ان پر رحم فرما، انہیں عافیت دے اور معاف فرما۔

اللَّهُمَّ أَنِرْ قَبْرَ وَالِدَيَّ وَوَسِّعْ لَهُمَا وَاجْعَلْهُ رَوْضَةً مِنْ رِيَاضِ الْجَنَّةِ
Allāhumma anir qabra wālidayya wa wassiʿ lahumā wajʿalhu rawḍatan min riyāḍi l-jannah
“O Allah, illuminate my parents’ graves, make them spacious and make them a garden from the gardens of Paradise.”
اے اللہ، میرے والدین کی قبروں کو روشن فرما، انہیں کشادہ کر دے اور جنت کے باغوں میں سے بنا دے۔

اللَّهُمَّ قِ وَالِدَيَّ عَذَابَ الْقَبْرِ وَعَذَابَ النَّارِ
Allāhumma qi wālidayya ʿadhāba l-qabri wa ʿadhāba n-nār
“O Allah, protect my parents from the punishment of the grave and the punishment of the Fire.”
اے اللہ، میرے والدین کو عذابِ قبر اور عذابِ جہنم سے محفوظ رکھ۔

اللَّهُمَّ ارْفَعْ دَرَجَاتِ وَالِدَيَّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَأَلْحِقْهُمَا بِالصَّالِحِينَ
Allāhumma rfa’ darajāti wālidayya fi l-jannati wa alḥiqhumā biṣ-ṣāliḥīn
“O Allah, elevate my parents’ ranks in Jannah and join them with the righteous.”
اے اللہ، جنت میں میرے والدین کے درجات بلند فرما اور انہیں نیک لوگوں کے ساتھ ملا دے۔

اللَّهُمَّ اجْمَعْنِي بِوَالِدَيَّ فِي جَنَّتِكَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ
Allāhumma jmaʿnī bi-wālidayya fī jannatika maʿa n-nabiyyīna waṣ-ṣiddīqīn
“O Allah, reunite me with my parents in Your Jannah alongside the Prophets and the truthful ones.”
اے اللہ، مجھے اپنی جنت میں میرے والدین کے ساتھ انبیاء اور صدیقین کے ساتھ جمع فرما دے۔

اللَّهُمَّ تَقَبَّلْ حَسَنَاتِ وَالِدَيَّ وَتَجَاوَزْ عَنْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمَا
Allāhumma taqabbal ḥasanāti wālidayya wa tajāwaz ʿan sayyiʾātihimā
“O Allah, accept my parents’ good deeds and overlook their sins.”
اے اللہ، میرے والدین کی نیکیاں قبول فرما اور ان کی برائیوں سے درگزر فرما۔
